A family have been left heartbroken by the death of their dog after he was left in the back of a pet sitter's car that was 'like a sauna'.
Banjo the Bernese Mountain dog and his brother were taken out by the sitter in 22C heat on Friday 17th June - without their owners knowledge.
Now, the devastated owners are appealing for details for witnesses who may have seen the dogs in Gloucester, due to the sitter not having permission to take them out, especially in such warm weather.
