Singer Belinda Carlisle has criticised “young women” in the music industry for their “sexualised” performances.
The musician, who rose to fame as part of the new wave band The Go-Go’s before achieving mainstream success with her solo hit “Heaven Is a Place on Earth”, disagreed that said performances by modern pop stars are “empowering”.
