After a blustery start to the week, the outlook for the week ahead in Belfast seems to promise much of the same.
The Met Office has predicted chilly temperatures will set in while breezy conditions will continue for much of the week throughout Northern Ireland.
Although it will often be bright with some sunny spells possible, there will also be a scattering of showers throughout the week, with fresh northwesterly winds keeping things feeling colder.

Monday:
Often dry and bright with a few sunny breaks possible. However, there will be a scattering of showers, these most widespread in the afternoon. Feeling chilly in the fresh northwest winds. Maximum temperature 14 C.
Monday night:
A few showers will linger, but often dry with some clearer spells. Still breezy but temperatures dipping in more sheltered rural parts by dawn. Minimum temperature 5 C.
Tuesday:
Another rather chilly day with bright spells and occasional showers. Fresh northwesterly winds, these strong around the coast. Maximum temperature 14 C.
Wednesday:
Calmer and sunnier conditions with the chance of a few light showers drifting in at times. Highs of 14 C, lows of 9 C.
Thursday:
A sunny morning but cloud will develop in the afternoon. Remaining dry throughout the day, with light cloud and a gentle breeze. Highs of 15 C, lows of 10 C.
Friday:
A band of heavy and presistent rain will sweep through from the west on Friday morning, with thundery showers and a moderate breeze expected. It will be breezy but largely dry in the afternoon. Highs of 15 C, lows of 11 C.
Saturday:
Light rain showers and a moderate breeze. Highs of 14 C, lows of 10 C.
Sunday:
Light rain and a gentle breeze. Highs of 15 C, lows of 12 C.
