Belfast road closures as major maintenance scheme begins

Belfast Department

A £300,000 major maintenance scheme on the M2 begins this weekend.

It will take place on the ‘Hill Section’, starts on Friday, June 17 and is expected to be carried out over two weekends.

The work will take place on the northbound carriageway between Junction 2 (Greencastle) and Junction 4 (Sandyknowes) and involves replacement of deeper layers of road pavement.
