Thousands are expected to take to the streets of Belfast on Saturday for the annual Belfast Pride event.
The Belfast Pride Parade will be moving through the city centre from 1pm this afternoon. Organisers are promising the largest one the city has ever witnessed.
At the last Pride event in 2019, 60,000 people were on the streets of the city – a figure that included parade participants and watching crowds. Police say there are several events scheduled to take place as part of the Belfast Pride Festival, with potential road delays to be expected.
