A Belfast pizza chain has been named best in the country at the prestigious Just Eat Restaurant Awards 2023.
Returning for a seventh year, the awards, formerly the British Takeaway Awards, award winners are selected by a judging panel following a rigorous process comprising a public vote, written submission, and mystery shopping.
Pizza Guyz Belfast was named the 'Best Takeaway in Northern Ireland' with judges commenting on how it is one the "most highly-rated restaurants" on Just Eat.

Nominated for a second year, Pizza Guyz beat out competitors The Mill Café and Bagel Bar, Eathakka and Browns Fish & Chips Belfast for the top spot.
Speaking to Belfast Live, owner Ciaran Kelly dedicated the win to all his staff across their three locations in the city.
Ciaran said: "Pizza Guyz is so delighted to have won the most prestigious award in our industry against so many top-level competitors.
"It really is a testament to all the amazing hard work that our team of staff put in day in and day out. They never shy away from any of my goals and are always fully on board with all my crazy ideas.
"This award is dedicated to all my staff. We can’t do it without you."
Just Eat gave a special mention to Ciaran's sustainable practices and his commitment to the community.
They said: "In his spare time, owner Ciaran Kelly teaches children with special needs how to make pizza and is committed to running a sustainable business, having recently planted a thousand trees to offset the restaurant’s carbon emissions.
