Summer is only a matter of months away and after a spell of good weather last weekend, the idea of jetting off on holidays is at the forefront of many people's minds.
But ahead of any travels, it has been announced by Belfast International Airport that there are some changes coming into effect which relates to their car parking. Those changes are in the form of price increases and will start from Monday April 17.
A statement was issued on behalf of the airport last week and outlined all the price differences that customers should be mindful of.

"We would like to make our passengers aware of some changes that will affect those dropping off and collecting passengers from Monday 17th April," a spokesperson said.
"We will continue to offer 15 minutes free of charge in the Long Stay Car Park. Blue Badge holders can use the Short Stay Car Park free of charge for 30 minutes at Belfast International Airport for getting dropped off or collected."
The main increase relates to the airport's Drop Off Zone, which was priced at £1 for up to 10 minutes wait. The fee was paid at a machine situated at the zone's exit point. That price will soon rise to £3 for up to 10 minutes.
Belfast International Airport has outlined on their website, any changes that passengers and those nominated to do the airport pick-up, should be aware of from April 17. The information they have released, is below:
Blue Badge Drop Off Procedure
Blue Badge holders are encouraged to make use of the Short Stay Car Park free of charge for 30 minutes at Belfast International Airport for getting dropped off or collected.
To get your ticket validated please produce your blue badge to a car park team member by either visiting the office or alternatively pressing the help button on the exit barrier, a parking team member will meet you at your car.
After 30 min, a minimum fee of £3.00 will apply.
Drop Off Zone and Short Stay Car Park
From Monday 17th, a minimum charge of £3 will apply in the Drop Off Zone and Short Stay Car Park. Blue Badge holders are encouraged to make use of the Short Stay Car Park free of charge for 30 minutes at Belfast International Airport for getting dropped off or collected.
Main Car Park
From Monday 17th, a minimum charge of £4 will apply in the Main Car Park
Long Stay Car Park
Passengers can avail of a 15 minute grace period in the Long Stay Car Park, which therefore can be used as a pick up and drop off point. Please bear in mind after 15 minutes normal gate rates apply.
The Long Stay is situated behind the Maldron Hotel.
