A Belfast Indian Restuarant has taken the top spot after it was crowned 'Best Restuarant in Northern Ireland' at the UK-wide Asian food awards.
Nu Delhi Lounge in the city centre was crowned the winner at the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards 2022 ceremony on October 2.
The coveted awards are in recognition of the UK’s best South Asian cuisine across a series of prestigious regional and national categories and highlight the pinnacle of more than 2,370 restaurants and takeaways across the UK that were nominated by restaurant goers and food lovers.

Taking to social media, the restaurant said they were "honoured" to be recognised as the best in Northern Ireland.
They said: "Flying back to Belfast with a little extra luggage after an unbelievable night for Nu Delhi at the ARTA Awards last night in London, we walked away with restaurant of the year for Northern Ireland.
"We are absolutely overwhelmed and honoured to win such an unbelievable award!
"We would like to thank all our amazing staff for making Nu Delhi what it is and also a MASSIVE thank you to all our customers who without there would be no Nu Delhi!"
A spokesperson for Nu Delhi told Belfast Live that they decided their win to the customers who have supported them throughout their years in business.
They added: "We are so humbled and pleased to have been nominated for such a prestigious award, but to win has been an overwhelming experience. It is all credit to the hard work and passion of the Nu Delhi team who bring a new-age experience to Indian dining within Northern Ireland.
"None of this would be possible without the continued support of our guests and we can't thank you enough for everything."
