Kenneth Branagh's Belfast may have received an incredible seven Oscar nominations but the widespread acclaim for the film hasn't stopped some people voicing their dislike for it.
In particular, one reviewer of Belfast found himself giving the film a thumbs down for a completely unique reason.
Among the one-star reviews on Google, a man named Daniel Terry left a review saying he didn't realise the film was meant to be in black and white, and that within the opening few minutes he presumed there was a technical issue at hand.
He said he left the screening after 10 minutes and researched the film on his phone in the car park.
After realising that Belfast was filmed in black and white on purpose, he was then told that he couldn't get back into the cinema without an added ticket purchase, prompting him to give a one-star review.
The full one star review reads:
"I went to the movie, Belfast, but left after 10 minutes figuring there was a tech issue as the movie was in B&W , then after researching on my cell in the parking lot, I realised it is to be that way on purpose, but they would not let me back in without an added ticket purchase!"
Inspired by Sir Kenneth's childhood in Northern Ireland, Belfast was tipped to be an Oscar favourite when it premiered at film festivals last year - and it has risen to expectations.
The film received seven nominations in total: Best Supporting Actress (Judi Dench), Best Sound, Best Original Screenplay (Kenneth Branagh), Best Supporting Actor (Ciaran Hinds), Best Song (Down To Joy by Van Morrison, Best Director (Kenneth Branagh), and the Oscars' most coveted award, Best Picture.
Among the achievements for the film, Kenneth Branagh also personally broken a new record at the Oscars. He is the first person to have receiving seven nominations in seven different categories throughout his career.
