Beirut’s southern suburb of Dahiyeh experienced a series of strikes on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning, resulting in significant destruction. Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that the strikes led to the collapse of four adjacent residential buildings in the Burj Al-Barajneh area.
Prior to the strikes, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had issued warnings for people to evacuate areas surrounding specific buildings in the Haret Hreik and Hadath regions of Dahiyeh, indicating that these sites would be targeted imminently.
The situation escalated on Monday when strikes in parts of southern Lebanon resulted in the tragic loss of 36 lives and left 150 individuals wounded, as reported by the health ministry.
