Beckham to receive star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

David Beckham Walk of Fame Tom Cruise Football the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce

British footballer David Beckham is set to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the former England captain will be honoured with a ceremony at 6819 Hollywood Boulevard on June 12.

Actor Tom Cruise and Beckham's wife Victoria will speak at the event, with the 51-year-old receiving the walk's 2849th star.
