Bebe Rexha has slammed cruel internet trolls by sharing a defiant body-positive message online, which comes after she spoke candidly about gaining 30lbs due to a health issue.
The Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter, 33, has addressed body shamers and branded herself "fat" - leaving fans praising the star yet again.
Posting a string of snaps on Twitter this week, Bebe shared a screenshot of some of the words people have searched for alongside her name on TikTok.
Some of the terms that people have recently searched for on TikTok are: "Bebe Rexha Coachella fat", "Bebe Rexha getting fat same" and "Bebe Rexha halftime fat".
The second snap she shared saw the star hold up her black sweater to show off her stomach while her grey sweatpants sat on her hips.
Alongside the snaps, Bebe penned: "I’m in my fat era and what?"
Fans were quick to throw their support behind Bebe, with many praising the star for sharing such a candid post on the social media platform.
"Bebe, your body positivity has helped me to become more secure in my body. Though we can keep saying we’re not fat, or this and that… it’s hard but you help me to see that it’s okay to not be societally 'perfect. So thank you," penned one fan.
While another added: "You are so beautiful and such a great role model. Sending you lots of love!"
A third person then penned: "You're in your hottest era Bebe. I love you."
Earlier this year TikTok's search bar showed that people were searching for "Bebe Rexha weight" on the video-sharing platform.
Getting candid with her followers on Twitter at the time, the singing superstar penned: "Seeing that search bar is so upsetting. I’m not mad cause it’s true. I did gain weight. But it just sucks. Thank you to all the people who love me no matter what."
The singer recently addressed gaining 30lbs and how she was recently diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome.
PCOS is a condition that affects how the ovaries work, with it known to cause weight gain among other issues such as finding it difficult to get pregnant, having irregular periods and irregular ovulation.
Speaking to fellow singer Jennifer Hudson at the end of May, Bebe spoke about gaining weight.
Touching on her PCOS diagnosis, she added that the weight gain she has experienced "comes with the territory", adding: "[PCOS] is one of the leading causes of why women gain weight and are obese.
"I literally jumped, like, 30 pounds so quickly, maybe a little bit more."
She then said: "You don't know what somebody's going through, what they're going through in their life, so it kind of is tough.
"But I feel like we're in 2023 ... we should not be talking about people's weight."
