A beauty spot an hour-and-a-half from Bristol is said to live up to its ghoulish name thanks to an angry ghost that shouts and swears at visitors. Dead Woman's Ditch on Somerset’s Quantock Hills has become a popular location for ghost hunters, who hope to get a sighting of the potty-mouthed ghost, said to be a 'woman in white', who apparently tells people to 'f*** off'.
According to Somerset Live, the rude apparition is said to haunt the spot near Over Stowey. The site was named after the murder of Jane Walford by her husband John in 1789, but now a foul-mouthed phantom is apparently lurking in the area.
Ghosthunting couple Christine and Dave Thomas launched an investigation into the paranormal being in 2020. Christine claims she was shouted at and told to 'f*** off' by the ''nasty, evil spirits''.
