A student who is now a beauty queen has had the last laugh over her school bullies after being tormented for being ginger by classmates as a teenager. The beauty queen is now hoping to be the first redhead to represent England at Miss World.
In her teen years, Jessica Gagen, 26, was punched, spat at and even burned because of red hair. The beauty queen also faced eating her dinner in the school toilets to try to escape the bullying.
Jessica’s confidence grew after she was signed up by a modelling agency after her A-Levels and took to the catwalk. The beauty queen became first place runner up at Miss England in the grand final last year, narrowly losing out to Rehema Muthamia.
