Bauty fans are raving about a £12 Boots 'anti-ageing' foundation that instantly knocks 'years off' the skin and gives an unrivalled 'flawless finish' akin to more expensive designer brands. Shoppers have been so impressed by the £12 foundation, they're calling it 'magic', and it's quickly selling out.
Boots' Maybelline's SuperStay 24H Hybrid Powder Foundation currently cots £11.99 on the Boots website. It can be used as a foundation and as a baking powder - making it multipurpose.
The budget £12 Boots foundation first went viral when Tik Tok user Mikayla Nogueira shared a video of her applying it - with astonishing results. Mikayla found the coverage so flawless, she called the £12 'magic' - and it wasn't long before it began to fly off shelves.
The results looked so extreme, other Tik Tokers began to try it out for themselves. One of those people was professional MUA @fabulousafterforty, who posts videos showing what different beauty products really look like on more mature skin.
The £12 foundation gave her staggering results, with people in the comments writing that the woman appeared to 'age backwards' after using it, meaning it took years off her. Praise indeed.
Away from Tik Tok, the £12 'anti-ageing' foundation has had hundreds of glowing five-star reviews on the Boots website. Many shoppers say that they were originally skeptical of using a powder foundation over liquid, but after using the £12 Maybelline SuperStay 24H Hybrid Powder Foundation, will never look back.
One five-star reviewer raved: "Been using this for the last 2 days since received, and I have to say its very impressive; it actually does have staying power and that's what I am most impressed with. Similar products of this type that I have used previously mostly need a 'touch up' during the day, but not this product. Glides on easily and its wonderful how it stays on. I guess that's why it's such a quality product"
A second called the budget £12 foundation 'the best of the best', writing: "This powder is by far the best one I have tried. It’s extremely long lasting, has amazing coverage, and has the most flawless finish I’ve ever seen. My skin is more on the dry side and I was shocked with how well this powder sat on my skin. This truly is the only powder that’s really worked so well with my skin type and hides all my blemishes and fine lines. Beautiful product!!"
A third raved: " I love this powder foundation because it really lasts all day. I had it on for about 8 hours and it looked just as good as when I first put it on. Definitely worth it." A fourth said: "I’m definitely not one for powder foundation, but stuff is. Incredible. It matched my skin amazingly well, and it really did stay! Went to a dance class and sweated a bunch, and this stuff stayed put without smearing or getting super cakey. When I run out of this I’m absolutely getting more, I love it!"
Somebody else rated the budget foundation five stars, writing: "’I'm so impressed with this powder foundation. It covers just as much as a liquid foundation. It’s flawless. It looks natural & not cakey."
