Beauty fans scramble to Farmfoods for 'flawless' 99p foundation that costs £7 at Selfridges

Beauty lovers are rushing to frozen food specialist Farmfoods to get their hands on a 99p foundation that would usually cost around £7. Farmfoods probably wouldn't be most people's port of call when it comes to beauty items, given the fact it's built a reputation on its frozen food offering, but shoppers have been stunned to find the cult foundation on shelves.

Visitors have spotted The Ordinary foundation being sold for just 99p in Farmfoods stores. 30ml bottles of The Ordinary COVERAGE FOUNDATION SPF 15 are being sold for £6.90 on the Selfridges website.

The foundation has racked up several five-star reviews online. One reviewer wrote: "Excellent!! Easy on the skin Goes off quickly with micellar water Relatively good coverage."

Another said: "The best love love love." A third fan of the foundation said: "My go to foundation for years, I always try others but always end up coming back to this one, such a good quality and flawless foundation, full coverage."

A fourth said: "I am very happy with this foundation , it is close to my colour of skin and it is light. I am a mature woman so I need for it to last and to hide my skin blemishes. I like this brand a lot." A Fifth raved: "I am very happy with this foundation , it is close to my colour of skin and it is light. I am a mature woman so I need for it to last and to hide my skin blemishes. I like this brand a lot."

Farmfoods' astronomically low price of 99p for the foundation hasn't gone unnoticed by shoppers. The deal was shared on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, where it got a lot of people excited.

Jayne Ward urged: "Grab it whilst you can guys - I had an email from the Ordinary this morning saying they are discontinuing all the “colours range”

The foundation is only available to buy in Farmfoods stores and not online (well, for 99p anyway). Stocks may vary depending on the store you visit.
