JANEY Godley has been praised for sharing her 'favourite photo of 2022' in an emotional post.
The Glasgow comedian, 61, recently announced that treatment was 'back on the cards' after battling ovarian cancer for most of the year.
And to mark the new year, Janey posted a photo of her where she was having her head shaved to remove what was left of her hair after chemotherapy.
She captioned it: "My fav photo of 2022, my husband shaving the remains of my hair through the first chemo sessions. We both cried. He was so gentle."

Thousands of fans liked the poignant post, with many leaving comments of support.
One wrote: "This is beautiful. You both have each other for strength."
Another added: "I’ll never forget that Janey. You had the whole country behind you and still do!"
A third commented: "This photo is so representative of the human side of it. I remember when my auntie lost hers.
"I just didn't understand the impact of it as a kid or how her regrowth still affects her now (it's a lot thinner); I do now as an adult. Thank you so much for your gracious transparency."
It comes after the Glasgow Times reported that the comic is planning to “go out with a bang” in her last comedy tour.
