So, for an unforgettable date read on.

Brel

This cosy little pub and restaurant can be found after a romantic stroll under the lights of Ashton Lane, where you'll be greeted by a cute little candle-lit seating area, bar and, if it's warm enough, a heated outdoor seating area.

They have an extensive menu but we always love a wee fondue or raclette and cocktails together before heading outside to one of their firepits to snuggle up and enjoy some s'mores.

The Dhabba

The Dhabba offers plenty of incredible Indian dishes (The Dhabba Facebook)

In North India, roadside diners are known as Dhabbas, and these wonderful eateries are much loved and for good reason. Much like the Merchant City version in Glasgow, they offer colourful and vibrant dishes that are as mouthwatering as they are appealing on the eye.

Should you fancy something unique, you won't go wrong with Dhabba's incredible menus.

The Bothy

Nestled away just off Byres Road, The Bothy is the perfect bolthole for a cosy meal for two.

With stunning exposed brick details and dreamy foliage sprouting from every corner, this restaurant on Ruthven Lane is the perfect place for a candlelit meal for two.

The menu is full of elegant treats meaning you'll be spoilt for choice.

The Spanish Butcher

Why don't you call on a little Spanish flair when attempting to woo your favourite person?

Furnished in velvet drapes cascading from the ceiling and serving some of the best cuts of meat in the city, this sexy spot is glamorous, fun and endlessly impressive.

Grilling is the name of the game, so plump for a perfectly cooked cut of meat with a contemporary Scottish twist. None of it is cheap, but you can’t put a price on true love, right?

Fat Lobster

The slick and stylish Fat Lobster (Fat Lobster FB)

Slick, stylish and effortlessly cool, the new arrival on Hope Street is perfect for couples to enjoy a fun night together.

Should you be seafood lovers there are really few better places to go, with food that not only looks good but tastes absolutely delicious too.

The Ivy

Go big with a trip to one of Glasgow's lushest restaurants, with plush barstools, an impressive cocktail list and a dining room drenched in red velvet: dates don’t get much more glamorous than they do at The Ivy.

From the swoon-inducing wallpaper and gleaming gold accents to the plushest bathroom we’ve ever seen, this celeb favourite is an exercise in opulence, styled after the glamorous London original founded in 1917.

While the OTT (in the best way) decor is the true highlight, the food doesn’t disappoint either. Try the chocolate bombe to share, a decadent dessert that is sure to get you hot under the collar.

Cail Bruich

Recently awarded a Michelin Star, Cail Bruich is much in demand but let's face it, when it comes to that special date night you really do want to impress.

The winning formula includes the very best of produce from Scotland, a stellar wine list and slick service. What more could you want?

RED Sky Bar

Nine floors above the River Clyde with sweeping views of the Glasgow skyline, the RED Sky Bar was the city's very first rooftop terrace when it launched in 2018.

Four years later, the views still take our breath away. If you can tear yourself away from stunning panoramic views across the Clyde, the food and drinks menu is also quite the sight to behold: delicious cocktails and haggis bonbons make for the perfect Valentine's treat.
