A Beatles-mad man celebrating his birthday with a tour around the band's landmarks was stunned when he glanced down at a pal's pint and spotted the face of John Lennon staring back at him. Lee Baker did a double-take when he glanced down at his mate's lager and spotted the incredible likeness of the iconic singer in the foam.
A striking image of the lookalike shows a clearly-defined head, eyes and a mop of hair, leaving them joking that they were 'convinced Lennon was with them' on their day out in Liverpool. The married 51-year-old said finding the face 'felt like a sign' especially as he was in a boozer on Matthew Street - the home of the Cavern Club where The Fab Four played early in their career.
The delighted train driver shared a snap of his 'favourite' Beatle lurking in the doppelganger drink on social media. Lee said: "When I saw John Lennon's face in my mate's pint it was a bit spooky, it felt like a sign.
