Beachgoers have been warned after £100m-worth of cocaine washed up on UK shore.
The giant haul was washed up on a sandy coastline and was found by a walker and was estimated to have been worth £100million
It was discovered by the local who spotted 30 black bags tied to buoyancy aides.
But police said more discoveries have since been made on the same stretch of coastline, and they have warned passers-by not to touch anything they find.
Detectives are investigating how the huge drugs haul was found on Tan-y-Bwlch beach near Aberystwyth, Mid Wales.
It is believed the drugs would have been anchored at a designated spot in the Irish Sea to be collected by UK-based gang members.
But is thought to have become dislodged in bad weather.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman said: "This has been a significant operation so far, which has involved a large amount of resources both from Dyfed-Powys, neighbouring forces and partner agencies.
"Since the discovery of a number of packages of what we suspect to be cocaine, ground, aerial and marine crews have all been dispatched to monitor the area in case there were further items at sea.
"We are aware that the public have seen a higher presence of police in the area than usual, and we would like to thank them for their vigilance, patience and support.
"The police presence will continue over the coming days, and we repeat our message that anyone who finds a package - or knows someone who has - should contact us immediately.
"The contents shouldn't be touched, and partner agencies have been briefed on the risks associated with the possession of this find."
Police said work is ongoing to find out how the bundles came to land and who they belong to.
Last month, The Mirror reported how a pair of urban explorers looking at buried Victorian alleyways stumbled upon a cannabis-growing room under the streets of one UK city.
Matthew Williams and Martin Gavin were picking their way through a subterranean street in Bristol when they discovered the drugs farm.
The veteran 'urbexers' both have YouTube channels where they upload footage of their claustrophobic adventures. Matthew's is called TheSecretVault, while Martin's is Explore With Gav.
Matthew shared a video of the expedition but would not divulge how they sneaked underground.
Potential clues to the location in Bristol are censored, but close analysis reveals it to be under the Lawrence Hill area of the city.
The pair poked a hole in plasterboard and found an 'active grow room' with, what looked like, dozens of cannabis plants propagating under bright lamps.
Matthew said: "Let’s get out of town quick,” before they made their way back through a manhole cover to the surface.
