A popular beach polo event makes its comeback on the stretch of beautiful white sand in front of InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, Prachuap Khiri Khan, on Saturday from 12.30pm to 9pm.
"InterContinental -- B.Grimm Beach Polo 2023" marks return of this fun-to-watch display of polo played on sand, which presents unique challenges to players and an exciting sporting occasion for spectators.
A must-see event for anyone seeking a fun-filled weekend getaway, the competition features international teams of three players taking part in a fast-paced and exciting game of polo right on Hua Hin beach. Four teams -- from Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and Belgium -- have been confirmed for participation.
In addition to the polo matches, guests can expect a fashion show on horseback, horse racing, games, live music performance by the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, and an auction of art pieces from Nabha Foundation in the evening. A variety of food and drink options will also be available.
The tournament attracts a diverse crowd of spectators, including polo enthusiasts, celebrities and tourists. The event likewise raises funds to support Nabha Foundation under the patronage of HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati.
The foundation is dedicated to providing opportunities for the underprivileged and to creating sustainable jobs thus ensuring help remains available well into the future.
