BCCI secretary Jay Shah outlines departure plans for Indian players ahead of T20 World Cup

NEW DELHI: BCCI secretary Jay Shah confirmed the departure arrangements for Indian team players gearing up for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Shah detailed plans for players whose IPL teams fail to secure playoff berths, shedding light on their transition to international duty.

Shah clarified that players from non-playoff IPL teams will depart in two stages for the T20 World Cup. The initial batch, comprising players and coaching staff, is scheduled to leave on May 24, while the remaining contingent will depart after the IPL final on May 26.
