BBC viewers were forced to ask 'what is going on?' as they became distracted by a strange sound during Match of the Day. Those watching the BBC One show took to social media on Tuesday night to share their confusion.
It appeared the sound played intermittently as Gary Lineker was co-presenting the coverage of Liverpool's FA Cup clash against Wolves. A recording of rude sex noises played loudly, with viewers saying it was driving them 'bonkers'.
Lineker was forced to address the issue on air, saying "I don't know who is making that noise. It is toasty in this studio, it is noisy as well I am not sure if someone is sending something on somebody's phone."
