Pop star Fleur East has become the first 2022 Strictly Come Dancing contestant to score full marks on the show. She impressed all the judges with her couple's choice dance to a megamix of Destiny's Child songs.
Fleur wowed the viewers and the judges and achieved the first highest score of the series. Before the dance, Fleur spoke about how proud her dad, who has passed away, would be of her.
Bringing out his favourite catchphrase judge Craig Revel Horwood said "One word. Three syllables. Beginning with f. Fab-U-lous!" and both Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse gave Fleur a standing ovation. Motsi joked that Destiny's Child had gained a new member in Fleur, adding: "That was amazing! You are wonderful!"

Shirley added to the praise, and said: "It was an iconic routine that will go down in history...you were absolutely phenomenal, well done!" Intense screaming ensued when Craig finally awarded Fleur a ten, the first time he has given a ten all series, and the other judges followed suit giving Fleur a score of 40 as she topped the leaderboard.
After being awarded the score of 40 Fleur became very emotional and was comforted by her professional dance partner Vito Coppola. Also emotional was Fleur's mum who was seen crying in the audience and being comforted by other family members including Fleur's sister and husband.
Viewers at home also loved the performance. One said: "So pleased Fleur and Vito got a 40 on #Strictly. It was amazing and so well deserved" and another added: "#strictly fleur was phenomenal and Craig gave his first 10 wow just wow very well deserved it was excellent!"
