Strictly Come Dancing professional Carlos Gu has rejected an apology from his dance partner Molly Rainford after the pair narrowly avoided being sent home in the dance-off.
Despite scoring a total of 30 from the judges, their routine to the Grange Hill theme tune during the live show on Saturday night (October 22) seemingly didn't impress viewers. Singer and actress Molly surprisingly fell from the middle of the leaderboard to the bottom two after the public votes.
It left her and Carlos in the dance-off for the first time on Sunday night's results show, along with comedian Jayde Adams and Karen Hauer. The Strictly judges ultimately all voted to keep Molly and Carlos in the competition after both couples performed their routines again, reports ChronicleLive.

The former Britain's Got Talent star, known as Nova Jones in the CBBC show of the same name, took to Instagram to address the result. Molly, 21, who is the youngest contestant in the BBC dance competition this year, also offered an apology to Carlos.
She wrote: "I can’t tell you how grateful I am to still be here. That was not a good feeling but I think the comments were fair and I definitely have a lot of work to do.
"I'm so sorry to have let you down @gkx_carlos You are the most amazing partner and you have really been my rock this weekend. I promise to come back fighting next week, I’m having the time of my life and I’m not ready for it to be over just yet."
She added: Thank you so much to everyone who did vote and support, we appreciate you so much." Carlos was quick to offer some reassurance and insist she didn't need to apologise.
The dancer replied to the post by writing: "Babe, you have not let me down at all!!! I’m please about our dancing last Saturday. let’s keep working and mostly have fun. Love you."
Strictly co-star Fleur East, who has also been in the dance-off, also offered words of support. She responded: "You didn’t let anyone down Molly! You are a shining star and smashing it every week. Love you lots."
Other fellow contestants also backed her, with Ellie Simmonds posting: "You didn’t let anyone down Mol! You are amazing." Helen Skelton added: "You’re super star - loving watching you shine xx."
