It's Monday morning, but Strictly Come Dancing fans are still waiting to find out which celebrities have reached the grand final of the BBC competition. In a Strictly first, the semi-final live show took place last night (December 11) after the show was again moved from its usual Saturday night timeslot because of the BBC's World Cup coverage.
It means the last results show of the 2022 series - when the bottom two contestants, based on the judges scores and public votes, face the dance off - will be aired tonight (December 12). The results show is filmed the same night as the main event but usual airs on Sunday evenings, as it's revealed who the judges decided to send home after the dance off.
Remaining contestants Molly Rainford, Hamza Yassin, Helen Skelton, Fleur East and Will Mellor each performed two routines with their professional partners as they put their best foot forward to earn a place in the final. However, some viewers were thrown off their rhythm by the disruption to the programme schedule, with some bemoaning the main show airing on a "school night", reports Manchester Evening News.

Emma (@emrobros) tweeted: "Putting #Strictly on a school night should be ILLEGAL" with a crying emoji. She then added: "And the semi-final to boot!!! I hate football so much."
