Viewers settling down on the sofa to watch Wednesday night's Strictly - It Takes Two were left feeling confused by the furniture in the studio. Presenter Janette Manrara looked fabulous in a gold cropped top and matching shorts as she took her place to welcome the latest line-up of guests on Strictly Come Dancing's companion show.
However, as fans looked forward to the latest backstage gossip from Strictly Come Dancing, with the secrets and stories from the practice rooms and discussion about the dances for the coming weekend, some were scratching their heads about the changing seating. They took to Twitter to ask questions during the episode on October 5.
When former Strictly professional dancer Janette first appeared she was standing with a navy blue seat for herself and a matching sofa for her star guests. But she was then joined by CBBC star Molly Rainford and her pro partner Carlos Gu, with Janette conducting the chat from a peachy coloured scalloped chair and her guests opposite on a matching sofa.

For the next interview with Countryfile presenter and wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin and his dance partner Jowita Przystal, Janette was back with the navy seating. It changed back to peach again for comedian Ellie Taylor and Johannes Radebe, before switching again to navy for a chin-wag with Kiss FM DJ Tyler West and Dianne Buswell.
@ronan367 tweeted: "What’s happening with the seating tonight? Armchairs. Then back to the settee?" and @Geoff_Walton asked: "So why do the chairs keep changing on the program? If some of it is pre recorded can’t the use the same furniture?"
@ChezKuit said: "#ItTakesTwo please explain the sofa/chairs settings - Jeanette colour matched now she’s contrast coloured. My brain can’t keep up." Then they observed about the latest change: "Back to peach!!!!" @ChezKuit also asked last week: "What is the reason for having 2 armchairs and then a sofa and then back to chairs again? Who is requesting this?"
While @AnneMarie81 just wanted to know where the peach is from. They asked: "@Rylan @bbcstrictly can anyone tell me where the peach cocktail chairs on #ItTakesTwo are from please? They’re exactly what I’m looking for in my new dressing room!"
Janette, who joined the BBC dance contest as a professional dancer in 2013, hosts It Takes Two with Rylan and fellow former Strictly dancer Joanne Clifton. Joanne, who joined Strictly as a professional dancer in 2014, heads-up the show's Choreography Corner segment, which takes a look back in finer detail at the last weekend's performances.
