Wildlife cameraman and presenter Hamza Yassin was overheard making a comment to his Strictly Come Dancing professional partner Jowita Przystał - with his comment breaking the hearts of fans watching at home. Following their Halloween Week performance, Hamza was heard apologising to his professional dance partner on Saturday night.
Over the last few weeks, Hamza has become the new favourite to win Strictly this year, overtaking early frontrunner Will Mellor. And many fans watching on Saturday night say they felt the duo should have scored higher.
He and Jowita danced a tango to Chris Issak classic Wicked Game and, while everything looked like it went to plan as the couple delivered a mean and moody performance, Hamza was heard saying sorry to his pro dancer in the aftermath, Chronicle Live reports.

The routine ended with Hamza falling backwards to the floor and, as he picked himself up and went to hug Jowita, their mics picked up a muffled series of 'sorrys' from Hamza. He appeared to apologise to his dance partner. As they embraced, the 32-year-old whispered: "I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry." But Jowita didn't seem to think he needed to as she said: "Well done,” while the audience cheered.
While the judges were largely positive with their praise, head judge Shirley Ballas did identify a mistake, which could well have been the thing that sparked his apology.
After Hamza and Jowita received a total of 33, many Strictly fans accused the judges of undermarking them. Angry with the scoring, one fan took to Twitter to rant: "Hamza and Jowita were undermarked so I hope they get more votes." Taking exactly the same stance, another fumed: "not even saying this out of bias but hamza and jowita were undermarked to hell this evening" and a third tweeted: "VOTE HAMZA AND JOWITA! UNDERSCORED."
The same fan also picked up on Hamza's apology, writing: "heartbroken to hear hamza say “im sorry” to jowita at the end...he’s so hard on himself every week but he shines on the dance floor so much."
There were two couples at the top of the Halloween Week leader board, with Tyler and Dianne and Ellie T and Johannes, who performed last, both getting 35 out of 40.
