The man who is responsible for the weekly Strictly spoiler has hit back at judge's accusations that he's 'ruining the show'. He claims he is instead just giving the fans 'what they want'.
The show has been on screens for 18 years attracting millions of viewers every week from autumn to Christmas. For years now, while Strictly fans are treated to two episodes each weekend, with the live show on a Saturday and the results following on a Sunday, in reality, both are filmed on a Saturday, with the eliminated couple actually getting the boot just hours after the programme has come off air, Chronicle Live reports.
That means the potential has always been there for the result to leak ahead of the results show going out on BBC One and for a long time now, it has done just that, thanks to the Strictly spoiler account on Twitter. Whille some viewers shared NTA winning judge Anton's frustrations that it 'spoils' people's enjoyment, for some others, finding out the Strictly spoiler late on a Saturday night is now a highly anticipated tradition and fuels the fire on demands for the BBC to do a live show, so there wouldn't be a need for any spoilers to leak.

Appearing as a guest on Tuesday's Loose Women, Anton questioned why anyone would want to do it, urging them to stop and telling the panel he had no idea who the Strictly mole was. And, while he has refused to reveal his sources, the Strictly spoiler admin Dave Thorp has no intentions of stopping his weekly publishing of the results.
Talking to MailOnline, he said: "I'm just providing a service and am not spoiling anyone's enjoyment. I don't put the results for everyone to see and they have to search for my site to find out the results. There is an appetite from people who want to know the results before Sunday."
Posting on his website, Dave also wrote: "The BBC know full well who I am. They know full well that it isn’t just one mole leaking the results but a series of moles in the audience. I’ve had discussions with the BBC on this very topic in 2015 so it’s doubtful they don’t still have a record of these discussions and their contact with me over email then."
