Strictly Come Dancing's Kym Marsh sparked fears she may miss out on performing this weekend after she was struck down with an illness. The actress and presenter was forced to pull out of hosting Morning Live and was too unwell to make rehearsals for the BBC dance contest earlier this week .
Oti Mabuse filled in for Kym on the BBC One show alongside host Gethin Jones on Monday (November 7) after it was revealed the former Corrie star he had 'caught a bug' on Sunday. Whilst live the presenters spoke to Kym via a video link where she said she was determined to recover so she could dance again on Saturday with her dance partner Graziano Di Prima.
Her illness followed the pair's successful Argentine tango where they came a close joint second on the leaderboard. The passionate performance saw the couple couldn't keep their eyes off each other which landed them a score of 37 and marked the furthest Italian dancer Graziano had got so far in the competition.

This week it has been revealed that Kym and Graziano perform an American Smooth to 'Chasing Cars' by Cinematic Pop. Kym had mentioned the song before the contest had even begun as part of her introduction package.
The former soap star was left red-faced in a promotional video ahead of the new series back in September when she revealed: "I would love to dance to Chasing Cars by Paw Patrol." She then burst out laughing, exclaiming, "Paw Patrol? Paw Patrol!" before composing herself with the correction: "Snow Patrol."
But whilst going live on Instagram with her dance partner Graziano on Thursday (November 10), Kym has now hinted that there is a special meaning behind the song choice, not just for herself but for the professional dancer too.
The pair went live on Instagram with the caption 'Little chat with you all' whilst they answered questions from fans.
Graziano began the video by saying: "We just want to say hi and have a chat about how this week has been going. It has been going very well. We are doing an American Smooth foxtrot and it's a very particular and important week for us."
Kym, who is from Wigan, then went on to say: "It's very important yeah. You'll find out more about it but we're going to be doing a dance that is very special to both of us, so we really hope that you enjoy it as much as we've enjoyed dancing to it."
Kym then went on to thank their fans for voting for them last weekend and revealed that Graziano was emotional after the result.
"It means the world. Saturday night I went home and spent most of the night watching our dance over and over. I couldn't believe it. I've been waiting for that moment for so long."
