BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Hamza Yassin shares what he's really been saying to Jowita every week that viewers didn't see

Hamza Yassin has already shared how he still does not think he can dance despite making it through to the Strictly Come Dancing final and now he's revealed what he has really been saying to Jowita Przystał for the last 13 weeks of the competition.

The wildlife cameraman will compete for the Glitterball trophy during Saturday night's final of the BBC One dance contest as the 20th series officially comes to an end. He will battle it out on the dancefloor against radio DJ Fleur East, TV presenter Helen Skelton and actor and singer Molly Rainford.

But despite Hazma having topped the leaderboard multiple times throughout the series, revealed ahead of the final that he was excited but also nervous as he did not believe he was going to be in this position.

"I thought week one – get going. I didn’t think I could dance, I still don’t think I can dance," he said. And it appears he didn't think he was going to make it through during every results show as he revealed what he whispered to dance partner Jowita every week - and viewers won't have known until now.

Appearing on the final It Takes Two of 2022 on Friday (December 16), Hamza revealed to hosts Rylan Clark and Janette Manrara: "Hand on heart, every single week, we stand together at the results show and I whisper in her ear, 'Thank you so much for everything you’ve done. I’m ready for the dance-off. Here we go.'

"I did not think that this was ever gonna happen, let alone that we’re in the final." But Hazma has also shared the physical benefits he has seen to himself during his 13 weeks in the Strictly bubble. "I’ve lost nearly 13kilos so over a stone and a half," he shared.

"My feet are not achy anymore and I’m seeing body parts being defined and I feel so much happier, fitter, and healthier. I hope I can keep it going – it will be amazing if I can. I am certainly healthier."

He then added: "I have lost 4-5 inches across my waist, it’s just nuts. This suit I’m wearing was tailor-made at the beginning and now I’m wearing a belt to tighten it. It’s an amazing feeling."
