Viewers took to social media as the winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2022 was announced. It comes as the finalists performed their hearts out for the last time in the final of the BBC One dance contest.
The show started with 15 celebrities and their professional dance partners, reports Manchester Evening News. After 13 weeks, it was down to just Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez, Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu, Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal, and Fleur East and Vito Coppola to fight it out on the dancefloor for the Glitterball trophy.
They all had to complete three routines each including a judge's pick, the couple's favourite routine of the series, and a showdance. But then it was over to viewers to choose their winners after the couples performed their routines.
