Strictly Come Dancing fans couldn't help but spot an absence during this weekend's live show as the stars took to the ballroom for the annual Halloween special. It was week six of the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night (October 29) and the remaining 11 couples attempted to impress with their spooky performances.
Ellie Taylor said it was "one of the best moments of my life" after she came joint top of the scoreboard after her Hocus Pocus-inspired routine. The comedian and Ted Lasso actress and her professional partner Johannes Radebe closed Halloween week on the hit show scoring 35 for their couple’s choice dance to I Put A Spell On You by Bette Midler.
The routine, which involved a smoking cauldron, received a standing ovation and rapturous applause from the audience – and put them top of the scoreboard alongside Kiss FM DJ Tyler West and partner Dianne Buswell for their Beetlejuice-inspired cha cha cha.
