Strictly Come Dancing 2022 is now in full swing as celebrities and their professional dancers perform every Saturday night in front of the judges and viewers at home. But, sadly, there must be someone who will leave the competition during Sunday's results show. This year's celebrities include actor Will Mellor, singer Fleur East, comedian Jayde Adams and ex-England footballer, Tony Adams, and you can see the full line-up, here.
The results show will of course see a dance-off between celebrities who have the lowest scores of both judge's scores and audience votes. Here we'll detail which celebrities have already left the 2022 series.
Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, and Anton Du Beke, as well as presenters Tess Daly, and Claudia Winkleman are back and, for the first time since 2019, the live audience has returned, after the Covid-19 paramedic put a stop to studio activity.

Week 11 - Kym and Graziano
After a Cha Cha Cha to Fame from Fame the musical this week, but found themselves in the bottom two, battling it out for a place in the Semi-Final against Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu. Both pairs performed again, but the Judges' votes kept Molly and Carlos in the competition.
Kym said: “Honestly I’ve loved every single second that I’ve been here. I never thought I’d get to this stage, in a million years. I have to say, it’s all down to this man [Graziano] here, he is just wonderful and he will be my friend forever. But what a journey it’s been, this show is just wonderful, it shows you things about yourself you don’t know, it shows you how tough you can be. Everybody, the crew, the Celebs, the Pros, costume, make up, everyone is amazing. I’ve had the best time, so thank you.”
When asked if he had any words for his partner, Graziano added: “I will be part of your family forever, I think we became friends from the very first day. I know you’ve learnt how to dance, but I have learnt so much from you, you are a warrior. You’re going to be in my heart forever, we’re going to be together many times, because I know I have found a friend for life.”
Week 10 - Ellie and Johannes
Comedian and actress Ellie Taylor and her professional dance partner Johannes Radebe became the ninth pair to be sent home after performing the jive once again in the dreaded dance off against Fleur East and Vito Coppola.
Deciding to choose the celebrity whose technical ability was just that little bit more refined in the dance off, Fleur, who danced a rumba, was saved.
After it was announced that Ellie would be leaving the much loved BBC One show, she told Tess Daly of whether the experience was what she thought it would be: "I'm going to be a cliche machine now, but it's been everything and more. I never, in a million years, expected to be in for this long. And to experience it so fully.
"And Strictly is about dancing, but it's also about people. And every part of this show, to the top to the bottom, from the excecs to the make-up to the hair to the costumes to the sets, to the band to my fellow celebs, the dancers — even some of the judges are alright. It's been an absolute privilege to become part of this Strictly alumni. It really has. I've absolutely loved it."
Week 9 - Tyler and Dianne
Kiss FM DJ Tyler West and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell were sent home after a very tough dance-off against Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu. The judges found it very difficult to decide who to send home with head judge Shirley Ballas saying: "This is probably one of the most difficult dance-offs that we’ve ever had to choose”.
After leaving the show Tyler thanked Dianne and said the show has improved his confidence. He said: “This girl here has changed my life, for sure. To think I was some shy kid who never used to talk to anyone, to dancing in front of millions, I can’t put it into words."
Tyler added: "This show has changed my life in the sense it’s given me confidence, a new-found family, every dancer, everyone in hair and make-up, costume."
Week 8 - Tony and Katya
Tony was forced to pull out of the dance off against Tyler West and Dianne after picking up an injury while doing the jive to Land Of 1,000 Dances by Wilson Pickett. The former sportsman said: “I came in here with one message, if you’ve got an issue with mental health then please don’t suffer in silence and reach out for help. Little did I know that I was going to learn a lot about myself in the process. I thought this ‘journey’ rubbish was nonsense, but my God the rollercoaster of emotion.
“I’ve got to be honest, it’s tough, physically it’s really tough out there, but dancing is really fantastic for you. Go out there and enjoy it, and pick up new skills and explore. I suppose I had better mention this one (Katya), hadn’t I? She is an exceptional human being, she really is.”
Jones praised her celebrity partner for pushing through despite a series of low scores from the judges. She said: “I loved us, I loved that we didn’t care what people thought, we did every single dance our way. You have come here with a message, you led by example, and put yourself out there, and showed everyone you can do anything. Everyone deserves love and to be loved. I love you.”
Week 7 - Ellie and Nikita
Ellie Simmonds became the sixth celebrity to leave the competition, alongside dance partner Nikita Kuzmin. The 27-year-old Paralympian faced Molly Rainsford and Carlos Gu in the dance off but ultimately, was sent home by the judges.
Speaking about her time on the show, Ellie said: “I’ve literally had the time of my life. It’s been the most incredible experience - life changing really. I want to thank Nikita ever so much. I’m going to miss him – he’s changed my life and confidence."
Week 6 - James and Amy
James Bye and Amy Dowden left Strictly Come Dancing 2022 during Halloween week. The EastEnders actor and Welsh professional dancer were the fifth couple to leave the series after facing the dreaded dance-off with Fleur East and Vito Coppola.
Speaking about his time on the show, James said: "I've said this from the very beginning, all I can do is go out there and do my very best. I am dancing against Fleur East, I went and did my best but she is phenomenal.
"I've had the best time on this show and I have a friend for life [in Amy], all I can do is thank the family, and I have a new family now. It's a competition but you don't feel like that backstage, you honestly feel like everyone has each other's backs and everyone is just willing everyone to do their best!"
Week 5 - Jayde and Karen
Failing to impress with their Charleston to The Ballad Of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It) by Victoria Wood, comedian Jayde ?Adams and Karen Hauer were the fourth pair to leave. Jayde said: “This has been the best thing I have ever done in my life and I will carry it to my grave, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with you [Karen] and learning about so much that will go into my own stuff, in my own work. You are one of the most gifted people I have ever worked with Karen."
Karen was then asked if she had any words for her partner, adding: “It’s been a roller-coaster of emotions for us, and you are so special, so powerful, so emotional, and I’ve loved every second. Thank you Jayde."
Week 4 - Matt & Nadiya
Former Bros star and singer Matt Goss became the third contestant to leave after facing Kym Marsh and Graziano in the dance-off. When asked by Tess about his time on the show, Matt, who danced a jive to All Shook Up, said: “It’s an extraordinary experience, I have been in America for 25 years. Thank you judges for your candour, you’ve helped me in many ways, my posture – Anton, I am more aware of it. This lovely lady beside me, a world champion with all the patience. I am very honoured to have danced with you, and everyone who is still in, I love you guys, go smash it guys.”
Nadiya was then asked if she had any words for her partner, she said: “First I’m so grateful that I got to teach and dance with a music icon. But, more important than this, I got the privilege to get to know Matt, for who you really are. Not many people know you and you’re a beautiful soul, very kind human and a real gentleman.”
Week 3 - Richie & Giovanni
Radio2 traffic reporter and The One Show presenter, Richie Anderson left in week three after Movie Week. Their dance-off was with singer Fleur East, who did a Little Mermaid-themed American Smooth.
They performed a samba to Hakuna Matata from The Lion King and after the dance-off Anton Du Beke said: “Well I thought that was a well danced Dance Off. I thought both couples performed well, I thought one couple was a bit more sure footed about their performance and had a slightly better level of artistry about what they were doing, so the couple I would like to save is Fleur and Vito." Richie said of his time on the show, when asked: "Do you know what as a strictly fan I always thought it was a magical thing to be a part of , and being here it really is and it’s not just the people that you see on camera, the judges, and you and Claud and the amazing people that I’ve got to meet on this show. The people behind the scenes in hair, make up, everybody. I also want to thank this guy [Giovanni] as well, he’s been so amazing, and i feel so lucky that I’ve got to dance with you every day. Not only are you a fantastic dancer but you are also a fantastic guy on top of that. I want to thank all my family and friends and my other half Dean who is in the audience, I love you so much.”
Week 2 - Kaye and Kai
Week two saw the first celebrity sent home after there were no eliminations in the series opener. Loose Woman, Kaye Adams, and her dance partner Kai Widdrington were the first to leave this year's competition.
Their Charleston to Music! Music! Music! by Dorothy Provine saw them face a dance-off with Matt Goss and his partner Nadiya Bychkova. Kaye said of leaving: “It was the right result and I did make mistakes, and when it comes to that high pressured situation that’s what happens. So I am delighted for Matt and Nadiya, the only person I am just sorry for is this wonderful man [Kai], who has just been so brilliant."
"It was a hell of a lot of fun, I said my ambition was to learn to love to dance, and actually I have seen a whole new side to myself, it’s opened a little door. It’s been a wonderful experience and to spend time with such talented people who love the show so much has been a joy!”
