Viewers of Sort Your Life Out on the BBC have been left emotional after homeowner Sue managed to get rid of 80% of her belongings. The property was "bursting at the seams" with clutter leading Sue to call in Stacey Solomon and her team of experts.
Sue had amassed a collection of clutter in her home that included hundreds of carrier bags and hair rollers among various family memories. She also had a huge collection of shoes in the home.
But influencer Stacey and her team completely transformed the property while helping Sue either donate or dispose of any unwanted items. It saw Sue, aided by her family, reduce the amount of boxes that had built up over the past two decades.
It wasn't however until after the team had renovated the property that the difference became so stark. The hallway, previously overrun by items, had seen a fresh lick of paint with reconditioned furniture.
And of course, a space to keep Sue's beloved shoes. Commenting on Sue's overjoyed reaction, Stacey said: "It makes me so happy."
The living room, which was also bursting with belongings, also had a makeover. Once full of boxes from Sue's late mother, it was given a lighter look with family photos on the walls and upcycled furniture.
The dining room also underwent a dramatic transformation giving the family a place to sit and socialise together over a meal. Sue remarked: "Oh this is beautiful."
The biggest transformation however came in Sue's bedroom. Where, after years of sleeping alongside the clutter, she now has a fresh looking bedroom and upcycled decoration in a space she can call her own. She said: "It is the start of the rest of my life."
Viewers were left feeling emotional for Sue and the dramatic transformation. @Rozlaws on Twitter said: "If you're not amazed and a bit teary at the end of Sort Your Life Out, you must have a heart of stone. It's so life-affirming."
While @hollycarruthers said: "Wow being a hoarder then getting rid of 80% of it!" @Bigwows said: "Fair play, Sue, ditching over 80% of your stuff."
@Lgbt_lawyer commented: "This @StaceySolomon show is going to emotionally destroy me." @Elliedb91 added: "How can you not love @StaceySolomon!? She’s just the loveliest person! Even my grandad is crying at Sort Your Life Out."
