BBC Ski Sunday host Chemmy Alcott caught again plugging clothing range on screen

BBC Ski Sunday presenter Chemmy Alcott is in hot water with TV bosses – after being caught once again plugging her clothing range on screen.

She breached BBC rules about conflicts of interest by wearing jumpers for skiwear brand Snow Finel on the show, which is currently on air.

Chemmy, 40, has been a brand ambassador for the firm for four years, even designing ranges.

Last year the host was “reminded of the BBC’s guidelines in relation to commercial conflicts of interest” after we revealed how she had been wearing them on Ski Sunday and coverage of the Winter Olympics.

She once again wore Snow Finel during Ski Sunday’s first two episodes which aired on BBC Two this month.

The BBC confirmed that they have banned her from wearing the clothes.

A spokesman said: “Chemmy will not be wearing the brand in question on air again and has been spoken to.”

Snow Finel has been highlighting her on-screen outfits on social media.

BBC rules state that presenters are not allowed to “appear on air wearing clothes or using products, goods or services which they have agreed, or been contracted, to promote or in which they have financial interest.”
