Dramatic courtroom show Judge Romesh won't be returning to our screens, it has been confirmed.
The comic presided over real life disputes, putting a funny twist on issues similar to Judge Rinder but with "fewer legal qualifications and less interest".
It was originally on comedy channel Dave when it first aired in 2018 before being picked up by the BBC.
But the show, which also stars bailiff Tom Davis and court clerk Jessica Knappett, isn't returning any time soon.
We've not seen another series for a few years due to Romesh Ranganathan's many TV commitments.
It looks like we could have seen the last of it after he addressed its absence last night.
When asked at the BAFTA Awards if the programme is in his future plans, the Mock The Week star joked to The Sun: "I have no plan, there is no long-term plan.
"I’m just floating from thing to thing until I get found out and then in years to come you’ll be at the park and be like, that guy looks like Romesh Ranganathan."
He was excited the launch the show in 2018 and told fans what's in store.
Romesh said: "Whenever I have watched shows like Judge Judy or Judge Rinder, I have always thought these people would be better served by someone with fewer legal qualifications and less interest.
"It is for that reason that I am delighted to make that dream a reality.
"I am thrilled to be able to help as many people as I can with their trivial problems."
Joe McVey, commissioning executive for UKTV, said: "Judge Romesh is the much-needed overhaul the criminal justice system has been waiting for.
"Where the court system has failed to resolve tawdry domestic disputes Romesh Ranganathan is exactly the arbiter of morality we've been yearning for, for like literally yonks."
Romesh is a busy guy and hosted Sunday's BAFTA TV Awards with pal Rob Beckett.
They kicked off the ceremony with a pop at the ongoing discussions surrounding impartiality at the BBC.
In their par's opening monologue, Rob said: “As we all know this year, there have been one or two issues with the subject of the BBC and balance.
“It’s not easy for comedians to host an award show on the BBC. We need to be funny. We need to be professional and also offer balanced views. This booking is perfect for balance.
“I see a room filled with some of the hardest working and most talented people in TV all driven by a passion and a love for their craft.”
Romesh then interjected: “Whereas I see a roomful of shark-eyed narcissists.”
They both joked: “Balance!"
