The BBC One schedule has had a bit of a shake up to make way for the football. Tonight [Tuesday, November 29], Wales will face England in their final game of the group stage at the World Cup and the channel has reshuffled its schedule to make way for coverage.
TV schedules over the next few weeks are set to experience major changes, with daytime television programmes, soaps and game shows all experiencing disruption for the sport. This weekend will also see a change to Strictly Come Dancing, with the competition airing the live show on Friday instead of Saturday, and the results also being brought forward. Last week also saw ITV's Lorraine and This Morning taken off air for three days, while soaps such as Emmerdale, EastEnders and Coronation Street were also impacted. For tonight's big game, which kicks off at 7pm UK time, coverage on BBC One starts at 6pm and will run until 9:30pm when a brand new game show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, will air.
