A man was caught on camera seeming to swear under his breath on BBC's Question Time after a fellow audience member suggested Boris Johnson should return as Prime Minister.
The audience member appeared to utter the word 'b******s' after a man in the row behind him claimed there was only one person who could succeed Liz Truss.
A Boris supporter had been one of few people in the audience to put his hand up when host Fiona Bruce did a quick straw poll on who wanted the former PM back.
Bringing up comments made by the panel earlier in the show, he said: "Graham [Stuart] spoke at the beginning about wanting someone who can command a majority in the Commons, and Jess [Phillips] said something about them needing a mandate, a proper mandate.
"There's only one man who's got both of those boxes ticked, and that's Boris Johnson. I think it's time for him to come back."
Appearing unimpressed, the man directly in front of him to his right seemed to quietly say the expletive to himself before rolling his eyes.
Jess Phillips could then be seen laughing, though it isn't clear whether this was because of his response or the original pro-Boris statement.
Commenters on social media relished the moment, with one Twitter user writing: "Brilliant - my new favourite person"
Earlier in the show, Jess Phillips blasted a 'revolving door of chaos' at the heart of government after a Tory minister said he was 'shocked' at Liz Truss's resignation.
Responding to an apology by climate minister Graham Stuart over recent "political instability", the MP for Birmingham Yardley said: ”I’m sorry… simply doesn’t wash, there is an absolute revolving door of chaos.
"In this year we will have had three Prime Ministers, in twelve years of Tory rule where across the country and in my constituency things are on their knees.
"From the menial of getting your passport to trying to get into an ambulance. I’m sorry and we’ll get it right is just unbelievable."
Boris Johnson has already begun "allies, donors and the team that helped him win the 2019 general election " to organise his campaign in next week's leadership election, according to The Times.
