BBC presenter allegations will be ‘swiftly and rigorously’ investigated, says PM

Rishi Sunak has said he does not know the identity of the BBC presenter who allegedly paid a teenager for explicit images, but he has been assured the claims will be investigated “swiftly and rigorously”.

The Prime Minister’s comments came ahead of the allegations about the unnamed star being put to the head of the corporation.
