Silent Witness returned for its 25th series tonight featuring scenes shot in Liverpool.
Viewers were quick to spot some of the city's landmarks such as the Liver Building and the waterfront just minutes into the programme starting. Paddy's Wigwam and the Museum of Liverpool were also featured.
The city is favoured by filmmakers, often doubling up as locations such as New York or London, but Silent Witness has showcased Liverpool's landmarks in all their glory. The Batman, Peaky Blinders 6, The Ipcress File and The Responder, alongside the recent BAFTA-winning Liverpool dramas Time and Help have all also recently been shot in Liverpool.
