Volunteers working for Friends of Roundhay Park (FORP), a charity for people who love and support Roundhay Park, were "hard at work" this morning clearing up a massive mess left in the park.
Roundhay Park, one of the biggest city parks in Europe, covering more than 700 acres of parkland, lakes, woodland and gardens was left in a total state. Most of the rubbish was left in Soldiers Field, an events venue at the park.
A spokesperson for FORP said they three nappies were part of the rubbish piles left behind. They said: "Forp volunteers were hard at work this morning clearing up this mess left on Soldiers Field- including 3 nappies.

"Please take your litter home! You wouldn't take the kids for a day out at the rubbish dump, why leave your filth and spoil it for everyone else?"

A BBC Look North presenter then revealed that her dog had made an unfortunate choice when confronted with the dirty nappy. Amanda Harper said: "Our dog found human poo there yesterday and ate it.
"Why do people have to spoil this beautiful park for everyone else?
"Such a shame."
Others were quick to agree with Amanda about the state of the park.
@NicholasGMills said: "Sadly Amanda that's the selfish nature of some people. They do it up and around the Pennine walks, the Lake District, and probably how they live when they are at home too!"
@MrStuartTaylor said: "Because they haven't had a PROPER UP BRINGING..... Have no VALUE of anything. Think LIFE owes them. ' Keeps someone in a job ' I've heard. I'd shoot them personally. With litter."
@JohnButch1404 said: "Sadly vermin will behave like vermin. No excuses"
