Rosie Marcel has revealed she was rushed to hospital earlier this week.

The 44-year-old actor is renowned for her role as Jac Naylor in Holby City and Casualty. Rosie has taken to her Instagram profile to reveal she was admitted to hospital for emergency surgery.

Rosie has now been discharged from care and shared a snap from her hospital bed as she thanked NHS staff for treating her. She said: "Ended up at the old emergency room the other night.
