Viewers of the second Eurovision Song Contest semi-final say they 'couldn't stop staring' as Alesha Dixon took to the stage to host proceedings. The final semi-final on Thursday night (May 11) decided the full line-up of acts taking part in the grand final of Eurovision 2023.
Just like the first semi-final on Tuesday, the event took place at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, where the grand final will also be held on Saturday (May 13), with pop star and TV presenter Alesha, actress Hannah Waddingham and Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina returning as hosts.
The qualifier featured acts from 16 countries, including Denmark, Belgium, Austria, Iceland, Greece, Australia and San Marino with only 10 making it through to complete the 26 acts set to take to the stage in a bid to walk away with the title and coveted Eurovision trophy this weekend.

But it appears that, again, all eyes were on the hosting trio - specifically Alesha. The Britain's Got Talent judge looked stunning in a sheer black dress which featured a plunging neckline and sheer panelling. She added a statement gold necklace to her look and let her new blonde locks flow down past her shoulders in soft waves.

But fans also couldn't believe 44-year-old Alesha's age. @hannanar said: "You cannot convince me that Alesha Dixon is in her 40’s, she looks younger than me, phenomenal #Eurovision2023." @mannalRMD commented: "How come Alesha Dixon still look the same as 20 years ago #Eurovision2023 #Eurovision."
It comes after Alesha took to Instagram to say she was 'switching it up' as she showed off her hair transformation. Posing for a mirror selfie which she shared with her social media followers, she said: "Switching it up for Semi Final 2! See you at 8pm!"
