Buyers on Escape to the Country joked about using an unusual technique to decide on a location.
On the BBC show, Margherita Taylor was on a property hunt around rural Shropshire. The property expert was helping her buyers, with a £425,000 budget, to find a country home.
Lorraine and Alan were looking forward to the quieter existance a life in the country would bring and hoped for enough land to rear goats, donkeys and hens. The buyers also wanted three to four bedrooms and room for a workshop. It was important for them to have a close-knit community but they also wanted to be bordering on being remote.

When discussing their needs, Alan joked if he could throw a tennis ball and hit a neighbour then they would be too close for their liking. Later, while looking at one of the chosen properties, Margherita said: "You were looking for a bit of isolation. You mentioned that if you could throw a tennis ball at the neighbours they're too close."
Alan said: "But here the closest neighbours are probably that flock of sheep two miles down the road." He added: "This sort of isolation is exactly what I'm looking for personally."
After positive first impressions the house hunters continued to be wowed on the inside of the property too.
