Good Morning Britain viewers praised Adele Roberts after she issued an update on her battle with cancer.
The 42-year-old DJ confirmed last October she had been diagnosed with bowel cancer and was receiving treatment.
She was interviewed by broadcasters Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway on Friday's edition of the ITV news programme - and spoke about how she was shocked when she received the initial diagnosis.

She explained: "I didn't realise that I could get cancer and I know that sounds silly because I now know it can happen to anyone at any age.
"But I was pretty much vegetarian, I ran all the time, I tried to keep fit and well and eat the right things and I just started to notice that my digestion started to get a bit funny."
Adele appeared on the show alongside her partner Kate Holderness and said she still doesn't feel like the diagnosis has sunk in.
She added: "I feel like I've still not really taken it onboard. I feel like I'm just trying to get through each day. Luckily I got told on the 1st of October and on the 25th of October they managed to remove the tumour, which was incredible. The NHS have been awesome.
"And then I was able to get back into a good routine, get back to Radio One and get on chemotherapy, and hopefully, I see the chemotherapy as my little snipers getting rid of anything that might be left, and hopefully by the middle of this year, I'll be back to normal and back to my old self.
Adele has ungergone surgery, a stoma and chemotherapy and is keeping in positive spirits as she continues her recovery.
She added: "So far I believe they've managed to remove all of the tumour, which is great news. It was in a really tricky place so I could have lost the use of my actual bottom.
"So they've managed to save my bottom. I've got a stoma in the meantime which I've named Audrey."
Kate appeared alongside Adele on I'm A Celebrity and praised the DJ for how well she is looking.
Fans on Twitter also took to the social media platform to laud Adele after her interview on the show.
John said: "thanks for sharing the personal health issue on #GMB. Hopefully highlight to others importance of getting medical help. All the best"
Helen added: "well done @AdeleRoberts #gmb raising awareness, looking fabulous as well"
Marie posted: "I have so much respect for you such a lovely soul I remember watching you on @coachtrip !@GMB #GMB"
