BBC Death in Paradise fans in stitches over behind the scenes clip

Ralf Little has left Death in Paradise fans in stitches as he shared a behind the scenes clip after the Christmas special aired.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, the actor, 42, showed viewers that things are "not so glamorous" on set. Ralf has starred in the crime drama, set on an idyllic Caribbean island, since 2011.

He plays DI Neville Parker, and had a key role in Monday's festive special.

On Tuesday, Ralf shared a video that showed set runners blow-drying his armpits and trousers, lateral flow tests, a car boot full of bugs, and torrential rain.

Captioning the clip, he said: "Here’s a behind the scenes look at the not so glamorous side of shooting in paradise featuring blow dryers, COVID tests, torrential rain, ants, heat exhaustion and of course the AMAZING crew who work tirelessly behind the scenes to bring the magic of Death in Paradise to life."

Fans were loving the tweet. Laz said: "Oh, the glamour! I hope [the woman with the blow dryer] was getting hazard pay, or at least some sort of medal".

Peter said: "Most people don't appreciate just what goes into making a show, especially the key roles behind the scenes. Ralf, take a bow for highlighting these fab people. A happy crew = a good show". Laura said: "This is hilarious, those poor show runners!"
