Naga Munchetty was replaced by her co-star on the latest BBC Breakfast show on Saturday (April 8). The broadcaster was missing from her usual spot on the sofa with her co-host Charlie Stayt after leaving fans divided over an interview with shadow culture secretary Lucy Powell.
Charlie, who hosts with Naga on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, was joined by Nina Warhurst. Fans were thrilled to see Nina take on the role of BBC Breakfast host as one viewer tweeted: "Lovely to see you this morning," while another wrote: "Morning Nina. Looking beautiful as ever xx."
Another said: "Always enjoy it when you're presenting, so cheerful and obviously very intelligent. You also look fantastic this morning." On Good Friday, Naga confronted the shadow culture secretary over a controversial tweet posted by The Labour Party's official Twitter account, The Mirror reports.
