A BBC Breakfast host was forced to step in when a racy wildlife photo was shown on the screen during the early morning show.
Jon Kay was presenting the popular BBC show when talk soon turned to wildlife photography, as a picture of three toads giving each other a piggyback was captured by James Roddie. The photo was called Hitching A Lift.
However, presenter Jon stepped in to joke that the picture shouldn't be shown before the 9pm watershed as it looked like the toads were up to something far more intimate than just hitching a lift with one another.
"I'm not sure we should show that picture before 9pm, actually, but yeah," he quipped as the photo was shown behind him.
Jon was joined by co-star Sally Nugent as they both chatted with wildlife photographers Charlie Page and Billy Evans-Freke who impressed at the British Wildlife Photography Awards 2023 and won a number of accolades.
Billy secured the Young British Wildlife Photographer of the Year award, as well as an award in the 15 to 17-year-old category for his photograph called 'Branching Out', which was of a tawny owl perched on a branch. Charlie, meanwhile, had won an award in the Urban Wildlife category for a fox roaming around an area which had been hit by deforestation.
It comes after Jon, Naga Munchetty and their fellow presenters bid a farewell to her co-star after almost five years on the show.
Kate Varley had been a producer and journalist on the BBC show for almost five years, but she was departing the programme for a new role elsewhere. She uploaded a photo of her sat on the iconic red sofa, with the likes of Naga, Charlie Stayt and Mike Bushell.
She wrote: "Saying goodbye to this brilliant team this week. @BBCBreakfast thanks for an incredible 4.5 years - I'll miss you! Looking forward to new challenges at @morningireland (and finally moving back to Ireland after more than a decade away eeeks)."
BBC Breakfast host Naga was quick to reply as she shared: "You will be greatly missed. 1 more to go..." whilst Jon penned: "We'll miss you right back! You've been brilliant on Breakfast, Kate. Thank you - and all the best at RTE."
