BBC Antiques Roadshow's Theo Burrell has 'a year or two' left to live

Edinburgh-born auctioneer Theo Burrell of the BBC's Antiques Roadshow has shared how she has 'a year or two' left to live. The 36-year-old was told last year she had an aggressive grade 4 glioblastoma.

Having joined the BBC programme in 2018, she said her world 'changed overnight' at the point of diagnosis, reports Birmingham Live. She said: “Receiving my diagnosis, at the age of 35, when my son was one year old, was devastating. Overnight everything had changed.

"Suddenly I’d gone from being a healthy person in the middle of my life with a new baby to having incurable cancer with maybe only a year or two left to live. What followed was months of surgery and treatment to try and prolong my life.
